Samsung is planning to launch a new Galaxy A8 Plus with thin bezels in the coming days. The upcoming phone has been leaked in a set of pictures, revealing the device’s front panel. Samsung currently uses the ‘Infinity Display’ on the Galaxy S8, which has the aspect ratio of 18:5:9. The next-generation Galaxy A8 Plus is expected to come with a similar aspect ratio. Recently, the Galaxy A8 2018 smartphone with slim bezels and dual cameras was spotted online. But now, a Weibo user has leaked images of a Samsung Galaxy phone which has a large and minimal bezel display. Two pictures of the device have been shared by the Weibo user. The upcoming Samsung device has relatively fewer bezels (according to the leaked details). However, the mobile cannot be called as bezel-less like the company’s flagships devices like the Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S8, S8+.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 Plus is probably going to be a Plus variant of the Galaxy A8 2018. According to various reports, the Galaxy A8 Plus (2018 variant) could feature a 16MP rear camera and 16MP front camera. The leaked images also reveal the phone to get a dual selfie camera on the front. This is unusual for a Samsung phone, but it seems that company has already planned to enhance the selfie experience with the upcoming Galaxy A8 and A8 Plus. Additionally, the phone is expected to be powered by an Exynos 7885 Octa-Core processor. It could have a 4GB RAM and in terms of storage, the Galaxy A8 Plus (2018) could feature 32GB of internal memory. According to rumours, the Samsung mobile will run on the Android 7.1.2 Nougat.

Unfortunately, we are still clueless about the phone’s display size. For comparison, the original Galaxy A8 came with a 5.7-inch sAMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The phone also lacks a physical home button on the front, which means it will reside on the back of the device. This shows that Samsung Galaxy A-series could get a major design facelift to fit into the new, bezel-less form factor of the future.
